Role Description
The Ward Staff Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester, responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the clinic’s ward environment. Day-to-day duties include:
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Completing assessments
- Monitoring vital signs
- Administering medications
- Providing post-operative and general medical care
- Coordinating care plans
- Supporting physicians and other clinicians during procedures
- Ensuring accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards
- Educating patients and families about treatment, recovery, and aftercare
- Promoting infection control practices
- Maintaining a calm, professional atmosphere on the ward

Qualifications
- Current valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven experience in ward-based nursing, ideally in surgery, general practice, dermatology, or similar clinical settings.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, observation, medication administration, and post-operative care.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control, patient safety, and CQC standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and supporting patients and families.
- Ability to prioritise, manage workload, and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Competence in electronic health records and basic IT systems used in clinical documentation.

- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including potential evenings, weekends, or shifts if required.

Desirable:
- Experience in a private clinic or luxury healthcare environment
