About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse and Despatch Manager to join our Liverpool site. Working closely with the Group Logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of hazardous fluids across our global manufacturing and stocking locations.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the safe and efficient movement of goods between global manufacturing sites and stocking locations.
- Ensure full compliance with trade regulations and export requirements relating to hazardous fluid shipments from the Liverpool site.
- Oversee air and sea freight logistics operations, ensuring adherence to all relevant hazardous goods regulations.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance, including risk assessment and communication across the team.
- Ensure departmental training requirements are met and all associated records are maintained accurately.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective logistics operations.
- Analyse logistics metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement activities across the supply chain function.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing the transportation and storage of hazardous goods.
- Experience implementing and operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of international freight operations, including air and sea freight.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience using operational metrics and data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- The ability to balance operational requirements with wider business objectives.
