Role Overview

An essential link between our clients, contractors and internal team helping deliver our products, solutions and services to the civil engineering & construction market. You will do this by ensuring products are safely delivered, stored, picked and loaded.

About the Role

Geosynthetics Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Apprentice to join our growing warehouse team. We are looking for an individual with drive and determination that will better serve our customers & clients companywide.

As a Warehouse Apprentice, you will be an integral part of the future growth of the warehouse and logistics team. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, including stock management, picking and packing orders, and ensuring safe and efficient goods handling in line with our operational KPIs. You will need to have strong communication and organisational skills to build positive working relationships with your colleagues, suppliers, and transport partners. The successful candidate will need a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal and department operational targets
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming goods safely
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers and transport carriers
  • Maintain and update warehouse management systems and stock inventory records
  • Provide support with regular stock takes and inventory audits
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and safe working environment compliant with Health & Safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with internal sales, logistics, and supply chain teams regarding order statuses and inventory updates
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (full training provided)

  • Keen interest in starting a career within logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital technology or data entry systems
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

About Geosynthetics Ltd

Geosynthetics was founded in 1998 by Chris Foxton, who is still the sole owner. He started off selling just a few products; Geotextiles and Geogrids, as of today we stock around 30 different products in various sizes. We import and distribute products for the civil engineering trade and ground works for things like, TRP, erosion control and grass protection, with a vision to promote sustainable solutions.

Our sister Company SWM was founded by Chris Foxton in 2006, they deal with the design, supply and installation of drainage products. We are the Largest UK supplier for our types of products located within the Midlands, and offer a 24-hour delivery service
