About The Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our warehouse, supporting the smooth flow of goods and making sure stock is handled accurately and efficiently.

This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of our operation. You’ll work across different areas of the warehouse, helping to keep everything organised, safe and moving smoothly. We’re looking for someone with a great eye for detail, a reliable and proactive approach, and a real sense of pride in contributing to an efficient, well-run warehouse and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Pick, transport and store components and products across warehouse locations
  • Deliver and receive goods to and from internal departments
  • Receive, unload and load goods in and out of the business
  • Support regular stock takes throughout the year
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including counterbalance, Flexi, PPT (ride-on pallet truck) and order picker forklifts
  • Support other departments during quieter periods as required

Systems

  • Use warehouse management (WMS) and order management systems (OMS) effectively
  • Identify areas of improvement, in acting change where possible
  • Ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly; reporting discrepancies, damages, or stock issues promptly

Compliance & Health and Safety

  • Follow all health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements
  • Operate equipment safely, ensuring compliance with training and safe working procedures (SWPs)
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
  • Work in line with all regulatory and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment essential.
  • Comfortable working across multiple truck types in a fast-paced, multi-site operation.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Expert in using warehouse systems (WMS/ERP).
  • Full, valid UK driving licence is essential, with confidence and willingness to drive a company van as part of the role.
  • Counterbalance, Flexi (reach) and Order Picker/PPT (ride-on pallet truck) forklift licences ideally held, along with a few years' hands-on experience operating this equipment.
  • Willingness to undertake further in-house forklift and van driving training or refreshers as required.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
