Our warehouse team is at the heart of that operation, and the work they do every day keeps our stores running and our customers fed.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and safely.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, physically capable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack products accurately in accordance with delivery notes.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure goods are correctly packed
  • Receive incoming deliveries and check quantities and goods against delivery documentation.
  • Report any discrepancies, damaged goods or shortages.
  • Put away and replenish stock within the warehouse.
  • Maintain an organised, clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate a Bendi/Flexi forklift truck safely and responsibly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
  • Carry out stock checks and assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
  • Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures.
  • Complete general and ad hoc warehouse duties as required.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure orders are processed efficiently and on time.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to operate a Bendi/Flexi forklift truck safely.
  • Previous Bendi/Flexi truck driving experience is preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically able to carry out general warehouse duties.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Desirable

  • Basic IT literacy.
  • Previous experience using warehouse or stock management systems.
  • Current Bendi/Flexi forklift certification or relevant experience.
