At Ground Control Geotechnical Solutions, we deliver high-quality geotechnical and groundwork services across a range of projects. We're looking for a reliable and organised Driver / Store Person to support our depot and site teams by managing the transportation, storage and distribution of equipment and materials. You'll play an important role in making sure our teams have the tools, machinery and materials they need, when they need them.

The role combines driving, stock management, equipment handling and logistics, so you'll need to be hands-on, organised and comfortable with a varied working day.

What you'll do

  • Drive company vehicles to deliver tools, equipment and materials to project sites.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely using manual handling techniques and forklifts where required.

  • Receive, check and record deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular inventory checks.
  • Organise and safely store tools, materials and equipment at the depot.
  • Ensure equipment returned from site is checked, cleaned and stored correctly.
  • Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  • Support site mobilisation and demobilisation by coordinating equipment and materials.
  • Work closely with site teams to understand and respond to their equipment and material requirements.

  • Assist with setting up and dismantling temporary site stores.
  • Follow all HSE, manual handling and transport requirements.
  • Keep the depot, vehicles and storage areas clean, organised and safe.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
