Warehouse Automation Test Manager
Northamptonshire - Hybrid
£60,000 - £70,000+
Are you an experienced testing professional with a background in warehouse automation, engineering, or integrated software systems? We’re looking for a Warehouse Automation Test Manager to lead testing and validation across automated warehouse projects, ensuring integrated hardware and software solutions meet customer requirements, contractual commitments, and performance standards.
Duties
- Develop and manage end-to-end test plans for automated warehouse solutions.
- Oversee testing activities, including FAT, UAT, subsystem, and performance testing.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering and software teams.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Integration Test Engineering team.
- Manage testing issues and non-conformances, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement across testing processes, tools, and procedures.
- Support projects from solution design through to customer handover and performance validation.

What are we looking for?
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience in warehouse automation and integrated systems, including mechanical equipment, PLC controls, and WMS/WCS software.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive, organised, and quality-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work at customer sites across the UK during project testing periods.
