YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our operation, supporting a key client within a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.
In this role, you will take responsibility for controlling daily operations across the site, ensuring workload is effectively allocated and service levels are consistently achieved. You will lead and manage a team, maintain strong communication with stakeholders, and ensure all activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with both CEVA and customer expectations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong supervisory experience looking to develop their leadership skills in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. The shift pattern for this role is Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 to 06:30

As Controller, you will:
- Allocate and manage workloads across your team to ensure operational requirements and service levels are consistently met.
- Drive the achievement of all operational targets, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Ensure customer requirements are delivered to the highest standards at all times.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and performance, taking appropriate action where required.
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support the ongoing development of your team.
- Oversee material movements across the site, ensuring timely and accurate execution in line with agreed service levels.
- Ensure all SAP and system transactions are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Manage and control activities across designated outbases.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with the client, acting as a key point of contact on site.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, other sites, and the wider operational network to ensure seamless coordination.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Experience using warehouse systems (SAP/WMS experience is advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Good IT and PC skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours when required.

Desirable:
- Experience working on a customer or client site.
- MHE (Counterbalance) licence.
- Knowledge of stock control systems, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Full UK driving licence.
