Warehouse Coordinator

Yolk Recruitment are supporting a well-established and growing business in Cardiff with the recruitment of a Warehouse Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy operation where you'll play an important role in keeping stock, deliveries and dispatches running smoothly.

As Warehouse Coordinator, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse, coordinating goods in and goods out, maintaining accurate stock records and making sure deliveries and collections are completed on time. This role would suit someone with previous experience in warehousing, logistics, stores or stock control who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
  • Manage goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
  • Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure stock is stored safely, correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers, couriers and suppliers.
  • Prepare shipping and warehouse documentation.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stocktakes.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed on time.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and maintained to a high standard.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

This is what you'll need:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, stores or stock-control environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Forklift licence would be desirable but is not essential.
