YOUR ROLE
Our operation based in Burton upon Trent is looking for a proactive and driven Warehouse Coordinator to join the team. Acting as the central point of coordination on shift, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe warehouse operations while leading and supporting the wider team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a more hands-on leadership and coordination role within a well-structured and high-performing environment.
This is a Monday to Friday rotational shift pattern, with shifts operating between 05:30–14:00 and 13:30–22:00. This role pays up to £33,000 per annum.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing a team of around 15 colleagues, creating a positive, high-performing environment where people can thrive and operational targets are consistently achieved. You will take ownership of the day-to-day planning and organisation of the operation, ensuring the right people and resources are in place to deliver outstanding performance against key KPIs. You will allocate workloads, monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and support to ensure everyone understands expectations and has the tools they need to succeed.
A key part of your role will be identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement. You will use audits, performance data, and robust reporting to identify trends, resolve issues, and introduce improvements that enhance both quality and productivity. You will also play an important role in promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed across the operation. Building strong relationships will be essential. You will communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, working collaboratively to understand and meet customer requirements while delivering a high-quality service.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment, ideally with coordination or supervisory exposure. You will bring strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions under pressure, along with the confidence to communicate clearly and lead teams on the ground. Comfortable working with data, you'll have a solid analytical and problem-solving capability, supported by good IT skills across tools such as Excel and warehouse management systems. Above all, you will take a proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach, ready to step in and keep operations moving.
