Job Opportunity at DHL Supply Chain

Pay Rate: £31,000-£34,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Grade: RSC N

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift Patterns: Working any 5 from 7, either 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on rotation

Location: Derby - DE21 7HW

We're now seeking an experienced Warehouse First Line Manager to play a pivotal role in driving this next chapter of our journey.

Please note the start date for these roles is mid-end November 2026

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Lead, coach and support a team of warehouse colleagues to achieve safety, productivity, quality and service KPIs
  • Coordinate daily operational activities across areas such as Inbound, Returns, Pick, Pack and Outbound
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all DHL health, safety and security standards
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback and support colleague development and engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, performance and operational standards

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Have warehouse, logistics, or distribution team leadership experience
  • Possess strong people management, coaching, and communication skills
  • Are able to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Are a proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach
  • Have automation, FMCG, or start-up operation experience is desirable.
