Warehouse FM Delivery Lead

📍 Bridgwater, Somerset (Hybrid – 3 days office/warehouse, 2 days remote)
💰 Up to £300 per day PAYE / £405 per day Umbrella (DOE) - Inside IR35
📅 Initial contract until the end of the year, with potential for extension

We're recruiting for an experienced Warehouse FM Delivery Lead to join a major infrastructure programme, taking ownership of facilities management and estate operations across multiple off-site warehouse locations. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring critical logistics facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational within a complex, fast-paced project environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading the delivery of facilities management activities across several warehouse sites, overseeing maintenance, compliance, refurbishment projects and contractor performance while ensuring operational continuity.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll provide technical expertise, drive continuous improvement and ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently and in line with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead facilities management activities across multiple warehouse locations
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
  • Oversee refurbishment projects and infrastructure improvements
  • Manage multiple service providers and contractors
  • Ensure statutory, regulatory and health & safety compliance
  • Develop facilities strategies, operating procedures and business continuity plans
  • Monitor budgets, project delivery and operational performance
  • Produce regular reports covering compliance, budgets, defects and project progress
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider project

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive Facilities Management experience within industrial, construction or high-hazard environments
  • Proven experience managing contractors and multiple service contracts
  • Strong project management experience, including refurbishment or infrastructure works
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working within highly regulated environments
  • The ability to manage budgets, risk and operational delivery

Desirable

  • Project Management qualification
  • NEBOSH (or equivalent)
  • Experience of CDM Regulations
  • Behavioural Safety or Resource Management qualifications
