Warehouse Helper - Storekeeper 1st Year
Work Place Flexibility: Onsite
Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC
Note: This is an onsite role based out of the Service Center in Little Rock, AR. Candidates from outside the area would need to relocate; no relocation assistance is available. The position will be filled based on experience as either Warehouse Helper (≤1 year), Warehouse Helper Over 1 Year, or Storekeeper – 1st Year.
About the Role
This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, packing, labeling, and performing cycle counts for materials within the Transmission warehouse, supporting service centers across TX, LA, & MS. Using established material-handling practices, the role also ensures the safe, organized, and efficient placement of materials across warehouse and yard areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures
- Attend and participate in monthly Safety meetings
- Receive and stock materials, checking for damage and verifying packing lists
- Conduct routine cycle counts
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting/hauling devices to transport/relocate heavy items
- Accurately pick and prepare materials for shipment
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping in all warehouse and yard areas
- Work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.) as this is primarily an outdoor role
- Participate in out-of-town storm response, supporting TX, LA, & MS as needed

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
- Shipping procedures
- Maximo computer functions, terminology, and operations
- Inventory control, storage concepts, and methods
- Warehouse safety and security practices
- Forklift/pallet jack safety
- MSDS sheet knowledge
- Shrink-wrap machine operations
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) procedures
- General understanding of warehouse work practices
Additional Notes
- Drug screening required (pre-employment and random)
- Up to 25% travel may be required
