For over 10 years, Live Wire has delivered technology, AV, and immersive experiences across Formula 1 and major live events worldwide. Supporting leading F1 teams and Formula 1 Management across all 24 races, our work spans hospitality suites, paddocks, garages, pit walls, fan zones, and factory environments.

Alongside motorsport, we deliver technical production and live event solutions across concerts, festivals, theatre, conferences, and venues including the Southbank Centre and Barbican. Based in Banbury, we are a fast-growing company working in some of the most demanding and exciting live production environments in the world.

Job Description

This role is suited to someone with a strong technical understanding of AV and production environments, combined with excellent organisational, operational, and process-management skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment, stock, and warehouse operations are managed efficiently while supporting project delivery across multiple departments.

You will work closely with project managers, technical teams, purchasing, operations, and logistics to improve warehouse processes, maintain inventory accuracy, implement systems, and support the preparation and movement of equipment for live productions worldwide.

Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and equipment management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across AV, production, and operational equipment
  • Implement and improve warehouse systems, stock control processes, and operational workflows
  • Manage equipment tracking, stock movement, asset allocation, and inventory reporting
  • Ensure equipment is correctly prepared, checked, tested, and returned following projects
  • Coordinate equipment storage, organisation, maintenance schedules, and workshop standards
  • Monitor stock levels, consumables, and operational requirements across departments

Operational & Production Support

  • Support project preparation, equipment allocation, and operational planning across Formula 1 and live events
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, technical teams, and logistics departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
  • Assist with freight preparation, shipping coordination, and operational logistics for international events
  • Support workshop operations including prep areas, repairs, testing, and technical organisation
  • Ensure warehouse readiness during busy operational periods and event schedules

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of inventory management and warehouse systems
  • Develop efficient workflows and operational procedures across warehouse and inventory activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting processes, and asset management records
  • Support equipment audits, stock takes, and operational reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organisation, and operational visibility

Equipment & Technical Coordination

  • Maintain a strong understanding of AV equipment, production workflows, and technical operations
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, servicing, and testing schedules
  • Support quality control processes to ensure equipment readiness and operational standards are maintained
  • Work collaboratively with technical departments to ensure equipment availability and project requirements are met
  • Assist with managing equipment shortages, replacements, and urgent operational requests

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Build strong working relationships across warehouse, technical, production, logistics, and project management teams
  • Communicate effectively across departments regarding stock availability, equipment requirements, and operational timelines
  • Support collaborative working practices across operational and technical teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and operational activities

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within warehouse management, inventory management, AV, production, or technical operations environments
  • Strong organisational and operational coordination skills
  • Experience managing inventory systems, stock control, and equipment tracking
  • Understanding of AV equipment, live production environments, or technical event operations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced operational environments
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and inventory or operational management systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience working within Formula 1, motorsport, live events, or technical production environments
  • Sage experience, including stock control or operational processes
  • Experience implementing warehouse, inventory, or asset management systems
  • Forklift licence or warehouse equipment certifications
  • Experience managing workshops, prep areas, or technical warehouse environments
  • Understanding of freight coordination, logistics, or international shipping processes
  • Experience supporting operational delivery across large-scale live productions
  • Familiarity with AV maintenance, testing, and repair workflows
