Warehouse, Logistics and Field Services Operative
As a Warehouse, Logistics and Field Services Operative, you will be supporting the day-to-day warehouse and logistics function at MLL Telecom Limited by helping ensure that all equipment, materials, and services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting physical inventory.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Assist in managing the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.
- Receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Ensure efficient space utilization.
- Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
- Stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Additional Information
Forklift Truck experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
