About Sproot Baby
Launched in August 2023, Sproot Baby is a purpose-driven startup on a mission to bring circularity to the baby clothing industry. We run a marketplace for selling and upcycling baby clothing and we have built a business model that actually rewards parents for returning used items from any brand.
Why does this matter? Babies grow 10% every three months, creating a relentless cycle of new purchases and disposal. The current industry recycles just 1% of baby textiles. We are changing that, with a goal of upcycling 2 garments for every 1 we sell. We sell our own range of quality basics, and we incentivize customers to return used clothing, keeping it out of landfill and back into the hands of families who need it.
Our mission: helping parents today & the planet tomorrow.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable individual to join our small team as a Flexible Part-Time Warehouse & Logistics Assistant. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a fast-moving startup where you will be involved in the physical backbone of our circular supply chain—from collecting clothing at our nursery partner sites to getting orders packed and out the door. This role offers a baseline of one shift per week (scheduled based on weekly workload), with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts as business needs scale and your schedule allows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
