The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organized inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management.
Role Overview:
The Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager is a senior operational leadership role within a Business Unit (BU), responsible for the management and development of warehouse and logistics operations supporting the BU. The BU operates within a complex, project-driven environment with significant material, manufacturing, storage, transport, and specialist logistics requirements. The role therefore extends beyond traditional warehouse management, incorporating the full coordination and operational control of internal and outsourced logistics activities associated with the delivery of large modular plantrooms and associated equipment.

The Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager will provide dedicated operational leadership to BU, ensuring that warehouse, material flow, and logistics capability are aligned with manufacturing programmes, project requirements, and future business growth. The role will have responsibility for developing a safe, efficient, commercially effective, and scalable warehouse and logistics operation, while providing strong operational control over specialist transport, heavy lift, abnormal loads, crane hire, and cross-border logistics.
The position will work closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Projects, HSE, and Quality to ensure that logistics is treated as a critical part of the overall BU delivery process.

What You'll be Doing
This role is responsible for leading and developing all warehouse and logistics operations across the business unit, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of materials, equipment, and modular plantrooms to support manufacturing and project programmes. The position oversees warehouse performance, logistics planning, heavy lift, and specialist transport activities, subcontractor management, cost control, and operational compliance. Working closely with planning, manufacturing, project, commercial, and procurement teams, the role ensures logistics requirements are fully integrated into project delivery while proactively managing capacity, resources, and programme risks. It also carries responsibility for leading and developing teams, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing scalable warehouse and logistics solutions that support future business growth and increasing project volumes.
