Role Description
The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rumburgh, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products. This position manages stock levels, supervises inventory movements, coordinates deliveries and collections, and ensures accurate recording of goods in and out. The Warehouse Manager leads and supports warehouse team members, schedules workloads, promotes safe working practices, and maintains equipment and storage areas. The role includes working closely with the operations and installation teams to meet project timelines, optimize space, and uphold quality and health and safety standards. The Warehouse Manager will also contribute to process improvements and help maintain a tidy, well-organized warehouse that supports reliable service to customers.

- Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills to ensure accurate tracking and availability of materials.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management and Operations Management skills to oversee warehouse processes and optimize efficiency.
- Candidates should possess Forklift Operation skills (and relevant certification) to safely move and handle goods.
- Candidates should possess leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and support warehouse staff.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, drivers, and project teams.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics management role, ideally within construction, timber, or building materials, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe manual handling practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace, is required.
