Purpose of the Job

Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations process within the Courier, Express, Parcel (CEP), and Freight Forwarding sectors within our business. This role ensures service excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards while driving growth and profitability. The Warehouse Manager will lead and manage a team across Aramex London Heathrow, ensuring seamless end-to-end logistics and supply chain management.

Job Description

Operational Management

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Optimize routing and network planning to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations management team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and retain top talent for warehouse roles.

Customer Experience and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Implement quality control processes and address operational issues promptly.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to service quality, operational efficiency, and customer feedback.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure operations adhere to industry regulations, health and safety standards, customs requirements, and security standards.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Preferably Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Freight experience
  • 5-7 years experience of managing warehouse operations
  • Line management and performance management experience
  • Fluent English
  • Proven track record of optimizing operations and achieving operational KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and decision-making abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
