Warehouse Manager

Location: Belfast
Salary: Negotiable

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 8 to 10, overseeing the smooth running of our warehouse operations from goods-in through to dispatch. You'll be responsible for keeping stock accurate, deadlines met, and the team running efficiently day to day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of 8 warehouse operatives, including rotas, training, and performance
  • Oversee the receipt, checking, and put-away of incoming goods
  • Coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch of outgoing orders to meet deadlines
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks/audits
  • Ensure health & safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
  • Use company systems (such as SAP or similar) to process orders, update inventory, and generate reports
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, driving continuous improvement
  • Liaise with transport, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse layout

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using warehouse/ERP systems
  • Good communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Forklift licence desirable (or willingness to obtain)
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving
