Role Description
The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Cheshire West and Chester Area. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock and inventory control, goods receipt and dispatch, storage layout, and compliance with health and safety standards.

- Plans and coordinates workflows

The role also involves:
- Monitoring performance metrics

- Managing equipment and maintenance schedules
- Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimize material availability
The Warehouse Manager maintains accurate records within warehouse management systems and supports continuous improvement in sustainability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with experience maintaining accurate records and minimizing discrepancies.
- Inventory management and operations management skills, including planning workflows, managing resources, and optimizing warehouse processes.
- Forklift operation skills and practical experience with material handling equipment; a valid forklift license or certification is highly beneficial.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to guide a diverse workforce and collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work within an industrial or construction-related environment.
- Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics management within manufacturing, construction materials, or similar sectors is preferred.
- Proficiency in warehouse or ERP systems, basic data analysis, and MS Office (e.g., Excel) is beneficial.
- A vocational qualification or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is advantageous but equivalent experience will be considered.
