Join us from the very beginning as we launch our state-of-the-art automated distribution centre!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a new operation at an early stage, helping to shape processes, develop teams, and support the introduction of advanced automation technology.

Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead and support warehouse teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, meeting key safety, quality, and service targets while delivering a consistently high standard of performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for delivering operational performance across your shift, ensuring productivity, quality, safety and service targets are achieved.

Your day to day will include:

  • Leading and developing operational teams within a fast-paced automated warehouse environment, ensuring colleagues are engaged, trained and supported to achieve operational objectives.
  • Conducting performance reviews, coaching and development plans.
  • Managing shift performance against agreed KPIs and service targets.
  • Managing labour planning and resource allocation across the shift.
  • Supporting the implementation and operation of warehouse automation technologies.
  • Working closely with Engineering and systems teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Driving a strong safety-first culture across all warehouse activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and safe systems of work.

Your Skills and Experience: What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing teams within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience managing operational KPIs and performance targets.
  • Ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
  • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Leads by example, with a hands-on and team-focused approach.

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience working within an automated warehouse environment.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce, retail fulfilment or high-volume customer order operations.
  • Exposure to technologies such as Autostore, conveyors, robotics and automated packing solutions.

Shift Pattern

We are a 7-day operation with service hours between 06:00 and 23:00. For this role you'll work the late shift:

  • 14:30 – 23:00 (Mon–Fri)
  • Sunday: 09:00 – 17:30

Covering 5 days out of 7 (with days off during the week when weekend shifts are worked).

Start times and rotation details will be fully discussed during interview. During our peak times throughout October, November and December there may be a requirement to work additional hours which is paid as overtime.
