Job Description
SHS Trading Ltd is a fast-growing e-commerce business specialising in home and garden products, selling through online marketplaces, our website.
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and drive efficiency as we continue to scale.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to someone who leads from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch)
- Lead the team on the floor and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Plan rotas, allocate daily tasks, and manage staffing levels
- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and stock takes
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and security
- Open/close the warehouse as key holder (security checks and alarm setting)
- Liaise with internal teams
- Use warehouse systems and Microsoft Office for stock control and reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements
- Experience as a Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager / Senior Supervisor
- Strong leadership with a hands-on approach
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
- Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Warehouse/stock management system experience essential
- Forklift licence preferred (not essential)
- Warehouse automation knowledge advantageous (not essential)

Schedule
- Monday to Friday (day shifts)
- Weekend availability: approx. 1 Saturday every 4–6 weeks + 1 Super Sunday at peak
