Role: Warehouse Manager (Mandarin speaking)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Location: Leicestershire
Industry: Warehousing & Logistics

A growing operation in Leicestershire is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations, own the systems, and be the calm, capable voice clients trust when things need resolving.

This business manages goods handling and quality control on behalf of manufacturer clients based primarily in China. Because client communication happens in Mandarin, fluent Mandarin is a genuine requirement of the role, not a preference, alongside confident working English for day-to-day UK operations.

What you’ll own

  • Full day-to-day running of the warehouse: shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfilment
  • Leading and developing a team, including team leaders across warehouse and site functions
  • Working across WMS, ERP and CRM systems to keep operations tight
  • Coordinating third-party logistics providers for collections and deliveries
  • Managing client relationships directly, particularly when something’s gone wrong and needs handling with tact rather than just an apology
  • Reviewing performance data and driving process improvements across the site

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
