Warehouse Manager – Manufacturing
SIVA Group – Southampton and Fareham
Full-time, Permanent

SIVA Group is a leading UK manufacturer of flexible packaging, operating across multiple manufacturing sites and warehouse locations in the Southampton and Fareham area.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to take overall responsibility for warehouse operations across the Group’s multiple manufacturing sites.
This is a senior operational role requiring someone who can lead from the front, manage teams across different locations and maintain consistently high standards of safety, organisation, stock control, housekeeping, and customer service.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and well-organised operation of all SIVA warehouse facilities, yards, and associated transport activities.
You will oversee the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, additives, consumables, and waste across multiple manufacturing sites and warehouses.
You will be expected to spend time across each location, ensuring that consistent standards, procedures, and controls are maintained throughout the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for warehouse operations across multiple manufacturing sites and warehouse locations.
- Manage, lead, and develop warehouse teams operating across different sites.
- Establish consistent working practices and standards across all warehouse locations.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, security, and housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with BRC, quality, and company procedures.
- Plan staffing levels, holidays, overtime, and sickness cover across the warehouse function.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews and support absence management.
- Manage daily loading and unloading operations in line with booking schedules.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of bulk tankers.
- Ensure all raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods are accurately scanned in and out.
- Maintain accurate stock records and complete monthly stock audits.
- Identify obsolete or slow-moving stock for management review.
- Manage forklift truck inspections, maintenance, and repairs across all locations.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is safe, maintained, and fit for purpose.
- Manage pallet stocks, damaged pallet returns, and PRS pallets.
- Oversee the identification and correct storage of additives and masterbatch.
- Arrange collections for scrap, inks, solvents, and other waste materials.
- Monitor consumable stock levels and place orders when required.
- Ensure warehouse sites, yards, buildings, and storage areas are safe and secure.
- Record and report any damage caused by vehicles, hauliers, or contractors.
- Provide appropriate training and instruction to warehouse employees.
- Enforce hygiene, blade control, laundry, and site safety procedures.
- Work closely with production, planning, transport, and customer service teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy, and site standards.

About You
You will be an experienced Warehouse Manager or senior Warehouse Supervisor with a strong operational background, ideally gained within manufacturing, packaging, food, pharmaceutical, or another hygiene-controlled environment.

You must be comfortable managing people and operations across multiple sites, resolving day-to-day issues, and maintaining consistent standards in a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse management experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience managing warehouse operations across multiple sites or departments.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- A hands-on, visible, and practical management style.
- Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements.
- Experience of stock control and warehouse scanning systems.
- Experience managing loading, unloading, and transport activities.
- The ability to organise and prioritise operations across several locations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of housekeeping.
- The ability to hold teams accountable and follow actions through to completion.
- Experience working within BRC, ISO, or another audited quality environment would be beneficial.
- Forklift truck experience or relevant licences would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence is required due to travel between sites.
