We are looking for an experienced UK Warehousing, Logistics & Returns Manager to lead the end-to-end UK operation of our distribution centre, driving operational excellence, customer service, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Role: Warehouse Manager
Location: Oxford
Salary: c50k + bonus + bens

You will oversee warehouse operations, UK transport and distribution, stock control and returns, ensuring high levels of service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency. You will also lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes, and ensure robust health, safety, customs, and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse, logistics, and returns operations.
  • Drive OTIF performance, productivity, capacity, and freight efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and inventory control, minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Oversee the returns process, improving turnaround times, accuracy, and cost.
  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver measurable efficiencies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse and returns teams, creating a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, customs, and cross-border shipping requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain to improve operational and customer outcomes.
  • Provide performance reporting and insights to senior stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in warehouse or distribution management, strong knowledge of stock control, returns, and Lean principles, and excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience with WMS/ERP systems and customs or cross-border logistics would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be positive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware, with a strong customer focus and a genuine drive to improve how things are done.
