About the Role

You will support the safe, efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, ensuring materials and finished goods are accurately handled, stored and distributed while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment and report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Safely operate FLTs and complete daily equipment checks.
  • Support bottling operations through the supply of dry goods, pallets and materials.
  • Load and unload containers and trailers safely, accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, marshal and dispatch customer orders in line with operational requirements.
  • Ensure all warehouse transactions and documentation are completed accurately and on time within SAP/ERP systems.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maximise warehouse capacity through effective stock location and space utilisation.
  • Support inventory counts and associated HMRC reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, excise and company procedures.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and third-party drivers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the operation.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Standard Grade education (or equivalent).
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience using systems such as SAP or other ERP platforms.

Desirable

  • FLT Licence (training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics or shipping environment.
  • Knowledge of excise compliance and warehouse operations.
