Warehouse Operations Manager

-Warehouse Operations / B2C Fulfilment / Team Management-

A growing company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Derbyshire.

You will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, supervising the operational team, managing inventory, overseeing B2C order fulfilment and dispatch, and supporting the establishment and continuous improvement of the UK warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on warehouse or fulfilment experience, including B2C/e-commerce fulfilment, inventory management and team supervision, together with good Japanese and English communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Coordinate workloads, priorities and a team of approximately 3–4 warehouse employees
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Coordinate B2C order fulfilment, ensuring accurate picking, packing and timely dispatch
  • Manage courier collections, shipping documentation, delivery issues and returns
  • Monitor operational KPIs, maintain warehouse data and prepare regular reports
  • Work closely with the Japanese Warehouse Manager to implement company processes, improve efficiency and resolve operational issues
  • Support warehouse setup, recruitment, employee training and ongoing team development

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of warehouse or fulfilment experience
  • Experience in B2C / e-commerce fulfilment
  • Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse teams
  • Strong inventory management experience
  • Good understanding of picking, packing and dispatch operations
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Good Japanese and English communication skills
  • Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the warehouse team

Conditions
