About Gunstones Bakery

Gunstones Bakery is a leading UK bakery business and part of the Boparan Group, one of the UK's largest food manufacturing groups. Supplying high-quality bakery products to major retailers and customers across the UK, we operate in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where service, quality, and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to develop and modernise our operations, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to play a critical leadership role within our Dronfield site.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Site Leadership Team and acting as a key operational leader, this role is effectively the number two within the warehouse function and has a significant influence across warehousing, logistics, materials management, customer service, and operational performance. You will lead a team of 45 colleagues through 6 direct-report Team Leaders, overseeing all warehouse operations across front-end and back-end warehousing, dispatch, goods-in, and night operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven warehouse or logistics leader who has operated within a fast-moving FMCG, food manufacturing, perishables, or retail distribution environment and is looking for a role where they can make a genuine impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
