Summary:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a large, fast-paced multinational retailer warehouse operation to work any 5 from 7 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in an operational environment and has a proven track record of managing large teams, driving performance, and delivering operational excellence. Reporting into the General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring productivity, service, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved while developing and engaging your team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a workforce of over 120 employees through frontline managers and team leaders
  • Drive operational performance through effective KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure productivity, quality, and customer service targets are consistently achieved
  • Analyse operational data and implement improvements to maximise efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage labour planning, resource allocation, and operational budgets
  • Build a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and employee engagement
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
  • Work closely with senior leadership and support cross-functional business initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practice across the operation

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or Senior Warehouse Manager
  • Experience managing teams of 120+ people within a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, supporting and developing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing operational KPIs, productivity, and cost control
  • Demonstrable experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiencies
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed operational decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within a demanding logistics, retail, FMCG, or 3PL environment is highly desirable
