Are you an experienced warehouse or logistics leader looking for an opportunity to make a real impact?
We're seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a large, fast-paced warehouse and logistics function within a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for warehousing, goods-in, dispatch, stock management, customer service, and operational performance.
Managing a team of approximately 45 colleagues through 6 Team Leaders, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products, materials, and customer orders move efficiently through the operation while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This role would suit an ambitious leader who enjoys taking ownership, challenging the status quo, and implementing improvements within a busy manufacturing or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all warehouse operations, including Goods-In, Dispatch, Storage and Inventory Management
- Manage and develop a team of 45 colleagues through 6 direct-report Team Leaders
- Ensure the efficient flow of raw materials, packaging and finished goods across the site
- Drive stock accuracy, inventory control and warehouse compliance standards
- Oversee vehicle dispatch activity and distribution performance
- Support production through effective material availability and warehouse planning
- Deliver operational KPIs relating to service, productivity, cost, quality and safety
- Identify and implement process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Supply Chain and Customer teams to deliver exceptional service

About You
We're looking for a strong people leader who can quickly establish credibility, lead from the front, and drive performance through their team.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- Warehouse Operations Management, Logistics Management or Distribution Leadership
- FMCG, food manufacturing, bakery, perishables, chilled products or fast-flow distribution
- Managing large warehouse teams within a high-volume environment
- Stock management, inventory control and warehouse systems
- Process improvement and operational transformation projects
- Delivering high service levels within customer-focused supply chains
- Leading through change and driving accountability across teams
