Warehouse Operations Manager
Grimsby
£55,000–£70,000 + package, depending on experience
We’re recruiting a Warehouse Operations Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy distribution depot in Grimsby.
The role will oversee the entire operation, from goods in and inventory management through to warehousing, picking, dispatch and goods out. The site manages large volume of SKUs, so strong organisation, stock control and operational leadership will be essential.

- Lead the end-to-end depot operation
- Oversee goods in, warehousing, picking, dispatch and goods out
- Manage a large and varied inventory across thousands of SKUs
- Lead, engage and develop the warehouse team
- Take responsibility for site budgets, costs and operational performance
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, accuracy and customer service
- Drive improvements in processes, productivity and overall site performance

Person Profile:
- Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution management experience
- A people-centric and ambitious leader who can engage, motivate and develop teams
- Proven ability to lead and manage a busy operational site
- Experience managing budgets, costs and operational performance
- Strong knowledge of goods in, stock control, warehousing and dispatch
- Comfortable operating in a high-volume environment with thousands of SKUs
- Commercially aware, organised and accountable
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to take full ownership of the operation
