We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our growing warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of medical devices and healthcare products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
Purpose of the Role
To support the day-to-day warehouse operation by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while complying with company procedures, GDP requirements, quality standards, and Health & Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to agreed service levels.
- Receive inbound deliveries and verify stock against delivery documentation.
- Put away stock in designated warehouse locations using approved procedures.
- Process stock movements using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
- Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Support loading and unloading of vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure products are stored and handled in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Quality, GDP, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with returns processing, repacking, and other warehouse activities as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency and performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational and customer service objectives.

Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
- Experience using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Manual handling certification.
- Experience within a healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or GDP-regulated environment.
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
