Warehouse Operative (07:00 - 17:00)
40 hours per week, 4 days out of 7, to include weekends
Temperature-controlled (4°C) environment
- 90% performance: £13.14 per hour
- 100% performance: £14.60 per hour
- 110% performance: £16.06 per hour
- 120% performance: £17.52 per hour
Additional £0.60 Per Hour If Reach Certified
As a Warehouse Operative in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient assembly of customers' orders. We are seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate assembly of customers' orders
- Picking and loading goods onto cages and pallets in a safe and manageable manner
- Adhering to stock rotational procedures
- Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
- Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
- The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
- Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
- The preparation of vehicles prior to loading
Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
Essential
- Numerate and literate
- Warehousing and distribution experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment
