Department: Transport
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + Night Shift Premium
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking warehouse operative to join our Transport team on a part-time basis. This role plays an important part in ensuring customer orders are sorted accurately and dispatched efficiently to the correct delivery routes.
Working within our busy Distribution Centre, you'll help maintain the smooth flow of goods while ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and housekeeping are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely unload and reload CDC/RDC trunk vehicles.
- Transfer stock safely to the dispatch area.
- Accurately sort and distribute customer orders to the correct routes.
- Ensure trays and bins are stored and distributed correctly.
- Follow all checking and verification procedures.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report damages in line with company procedures.
- Support site security and operational productivity targets.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- High attention to detail and visual accuracy.

- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active role and involves regular manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, bending, and moving stock. Candidates should be comfortable undertaking these duties as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.
Compliance & Training
All employees are required to understand and adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards for Medicinal Products for Human Use. Full training will be provided, including annual refresher training and role-specific requirements.
