At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Enfield, helping to keep M&S stores supplied with the products our customers know and love.
Whether you already have warehouse experience or you’re looking for a change, you’ll receive the training and support you need to get started and become part of a team that keeps one of the UK’s best-known retailers moving.
The role at a glance
- Pay: £14.89 per hour
- Location: Enfield
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Any 5 days from 7
- Day shift: 15:00 - 23:30
- Additional premiums: Weekend and unsociable premiums + £25 London weighting allowance
What You'll Be Doing
Our warehouses are at the heart of the M&S Food supply chain. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll help make sure the right products get to the right place at the right time.

Depending On The Operation, Your Day Could Include
- Picking and preparing stock for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Scanning and checking products
- Moving goods safely through the warehouse
- Maintaining accuracy and productivity standards
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working closely with your team to keep the operation moving
Environment: Chilled and ambient
Full PPE is provided.

What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, particularly within a fast-paced environment, although full training will be provided.

- Comfortable with the physical nature of a warehouse role
