Role Description
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Join our team and be a valuable asset in the seamless operation of our warehouse, where attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities Including But Not Limited To
- Accurate processing and locating of goods in and out
- Picking and packing items for dispatch
- Loading of vehicles for onward delivery to our customers
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock and resolve any discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pump trucks safely and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for designated area ensuring stock is correctly stored and labelled.
- Demonstrate highest levels of housekeeping.
- Maximise stock availability by working closely with branch stock control and ordering directly where required.
- Prompt completion of compliance and training modules
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Follow correct manual handling guidelines in day-to-day activities

- Promote and uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety, including active participation in “Near Miss” reporting to help maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues, and our customers.
- Always maintain strong security awareness, ensuring company assets and customer goods are protected.
- Present yourself in a clean, tidy, and professional manner, always wearing the correct company uniform.
- Follow the correct procedures for reporting sickness or absence in a timely and responsible manner.
- Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn, in line with company policy and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider branch team to support smooth daily operations.
- Be flexible and willing to support other areas of Lords Group Trading when required, including temporary assignments in different departments or branches.
- Carry out any additional duties that are reasonable and within the scope of the role, contributing to the overall success of the team.
