About The Role

Pertemps Banbury seeks a Warehouse Operative for its Kidlington site, offering £13.85 hourly on a full-time temporary contract, with potential to become permanent. Hours run 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will unload vehicles, handle incoming goods, replenish stock, and keep storage areas organised. Reliability, physical stamina, and a careful approach to manual handling are essential. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. This role suits someone who works well within a team and takes pride in maintaining an efficient, tidy operation. Immediate start available.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Kidlington-based client for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is initially a temporary position.

Working as part of the warehouse team, you will play an important role in ensuring stock is received, handled and stored efficiently, helping to maintain an organised and productive warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unloading vehicles and safely handling incoming stock.
  • Replenishing stock within the warehouse and ensuring products are stored in the correct locations.
  • Using handheld scanners to accurately record stock movements and locations.
  • Ensuring stock is organised and readily available for operational requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

About You

The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and committed, with a positive attitude towards work. Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, this is a physically demanding position involving regular manual handling, loading and unloading. Applicants should therefore be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment and be physically capable of carrying out the duties required.

You Should Also Have:

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • A strong work ethic and dependable approach.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
