Situated in the heart of West Yorkshire, our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing site in Mirfield, is part of Dr. Reddy’s global network of API and formulation manufacturing sites. Our Mirfield team specializes in producing complex APIs in accordance with the quality standards of the MHRA and international regulatory authorities. We also make intermediates and activated mPEGs which make us independent from global supplies. Today, we have produced pharmaceutical ingredients for more than three decades (since 1986).
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team in Mirfield, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth warehouse operations through accurate inventory management, careful handling of goods, and organized stock control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.

- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments according to warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch using warehouse management systems
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, ensuring all items are properly stored and easily accessible
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory or discrepancies
- Load outgoing shipments onto vehicles and ensure proper documentation
- Follow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions
Qualifications
Essential
- Warehouse or Operational experience (preferably in a chemical, cGMP environment or equivalently regulated environment)
- FLT qualified and proficient
- Competent computer literacy skills
Beneficial
- Understanding of the importance of the warehousing operation in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using SAP (or equivalent system)
- Dangerous Goods handling experience
- Experience of chemical risk assessments with regards to sampling, storage and segregation
