£13.45 per hour | Full Time | Monday – Friday | 8am – 4pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established team. The role will involve supporting the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.
Job Duties
- Picking and packing finished products ready for customer dispatch
- Preparing, labelling and checking goods and packages
- Booking in deliveries and carrying out checks on goods received
- Checking weights and quantities to ensure deliveries are accurate
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operating forklift equipment safely within the warehouse
- Using an Aisle Master (VNA) forklift where required
- Completing regular stock and inventory checks
- Carrying out racking and warehouse safety checks
- Ensuring goods are stored correctly and the warehouse remains organised
- Supporting the wider warehouse and factory team with day-to-day tasks
- Working closely with Warehouse, Sales, Logistics, Quality Control and Factory teams
- Attending daily production meetings when required
- Following company procedures, health and safety requirements and legal requirements for the dispatch of goods
- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment
- Identifying any issues with stock, deliveries or processes and reporting them to the relevant manager
- Carrying out other warehouse duties as required by management

Previous warehouse experience and forklift experience are essential. Experience operating an Aisle Master (VNA) forklift is highly desirable, although full training may be available for the right candidate. You will need to be reliable, self-motivated and able to work safely and efficiently while managing your own workload.
