Job Opportunity: Washhouse Operative
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Washhouse Operatives at our facility. This crucial role focuses on the initial stages of our potato processing, where you will support the washing and preparation of our products to ensure they meet our high standards for cleanliness and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and related equipment to ensure optimal cleaning of incoming potatoes.
- Monitor wash cycles and product quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on washhouse equipment to prevent downtime.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the washhouse area, adhering to company hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality control throughout the process.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a production or processing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices in a food manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required, including weekends.
