Part time Warehouse Operative

Job role / duties
- Goods-in and receiving
- Unload deliveries safely
- Check quantities and condition against delivery notes
- Book stock into the system; label and locate items correctly
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Put-away to designated locations
- Maintain bin/location accuracy
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic stock takes; investigate variances
- Maintain correct stock rotation
- Maintain stock control using SAP
- SAP Order fulfilment
- Prepare shipments
- Build panels where needed
- Liaise with purchasing team and raise Purchase Orders for stock
- Liaise with carriers and internal teams to meet dispatch deadlines
- Manage and co-ordinate consumables, spares, warranty issues and returns
- Process RMA where required
- Keep accurate records and documentation
- Ensuring LOLER inspections are accurate and kept up to date
- Follow safe systems of work and site rules at all times
- Keep work areas clean and hazard-free; manage waste/recycling correctly

To Be Considered For This Role You MUST

- Possess experience in a warehouse/stores role
- Be competent with database inventory systems, ideally SAP as well as MS Office
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be accurate with data entry and paperwork
- Be used to manual handling
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possess a valid FLT licence
