Job Description:
Warehouse Operative
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 42.5 hours a week
Location:
- Based at Polar Speed UPS, Unit 4, Eastman Way, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 4SZ
Job Summary This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. This position may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and despatch a wide range of goods for the Healthcare sector using handheld scanners.
- Final check of goods ready to place into correct driver bays for despatch.
- Use Delivery/collection notes and paperwork provided to check serial numbers of items.
- Manage the turnaround of items required to fulfil orders.
- Quality control checks, reporting discrepancies to account manager.
- Liaise with Fleet & Distribution Manager for any loading bay, weight, or size of order issues.
- Assist internal drivers with unloading of goods, and deal with any issues.
- Scan and account for returning goods, ensuring they are fit to return stock.
- Have a clear understanding of the companies policies and vision and how the Warehouse contributes to these.
- Adhere to the supply chain policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of electronic Warehouse Management SAP, Lidia
- Warehouse experience - Preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Power Point

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week, 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Weekend working available as required, paid at time and half hourly rate
Flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business which may be of an urgent medical nature
