We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative who is responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately while supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
Role
You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency:
- Accurately pick customer orders using the Warehouse Management System
- Pack goods in line with customer requirements and packing instructions
- Support inventory control through stock checks and perpetual inventory activities
- Put away stock safely and accurately as required
- Work towards departmental targets and performance objectives
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and housekeeping
- Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service:
- Experience working within a warehouse or similar environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems (ERP/WMS experience advantageous)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence desirable

Additional Information
This is a physically active role requiring standing, walking, and moving around the warehouse throughout the working day.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check, employment and reference checks, verification of employment gaps of 28 days or longer, and training/testing to work within a secure aviation area.
