Location: Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £13.50 p/h
Hours: Flexible 8 hour shifts (not including break), starting from 11:00am Monday - Friday.

About the role

We are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our Sittingbourne team. You will support the accurate and efficient movement of goods through the warehouse, from receiving deliveries and putting stock away to picking, packing and dispatching customer orders. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment. Accuracy, organisation, teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Picking, checking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately.
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries.
  • Reporting shortages, damages, discrepancies or stock issues promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Following company procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Using warehouse equipment and machinery where trained and authorised.
  • Working with colleagues and managers to meet daily operational targets.
  • Carrying out other reasonable warehouse duties when required.

Desirable experience

The following would be beneficial but are not essential:

  • Previous warehouse, goods-in, picking, packing or dispatch experience.
  • Experience using warehouse or stock-control systems.
  • Knowledge of construction fixings, tools, PPE or related products.
  • Experience within the construction supply industry.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate relevant transferable skills and the right attitude.
