Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

Working Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Flexibility required to stay later when needed to ensure all goods are dispatched (paid overtime and bonus apply)

About the Role We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This is a varied and fast-paced role covering all aspects of warehouse operations, from goods-in and stock control through to picking, packing, and dispatch. This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to get involved in all areas of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Accurately check in goods and verify quantities and condition
  • Store stock correctly and maintain organised warehouse locations
  • Carry out stock control and daily cycle counts
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch
  • Prepare pallets and load goods onto vehicles
  • Assist with late-afternoon dispatch as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse environment
  • Operate a forklift safely (where licensed)
  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and basic IT systems

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Forklift licence preferred (training provided if required)
  • Basic Excel and computer skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems (full training provided)
  • Flexible approach to working hours when required
