We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to come and join our Broadcasting & Events Team.

As Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of hire and events. Preparing, loading and unloading of film and television lighting equipment.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment.
  • Pre-programming and basic setup of equipment for live events/hires.
  • Organised checking and storing off-hired equipment.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and returning equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, workshop and storage areas.
  • Operation of goods inwards and dispatch processes.
  • Ensuring warehouse and job preparation paperwork is accurately completed.
  • PAT testing.
  • General Warehouse duties.

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:

  • Driven and happy to work alone and be a strong team player.
  • A keen eye for detail and follow pre established working practices and processes.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage your own workload.
  • Ensure professional standards are met even under time pressures.
  • Basic electrical knowledge/experience is desirable.
  • Lighting, sound or video equipment experience.
  • Willing to undertake relevant training and development.
  • Commitment to health and safety - Knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage.
