Here at GXO Crick we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join our team, supporting our customer, Halfords. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 6’ pattern, on a rotating shift, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

- An hourly rate of £13.48, that is an annual salary of £26,286.00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and MHE in line with training, standard operating procedures and site safety requirements, completing pre-use checks and reporting any defects or issues
- Support the efficient movement of stock through loading, unloading, picking and packing activities, ensuring products are handled with care and quality standards are maintained at all times
- Help maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment by following health, safety, hygiene and environmental procedures, wearing the correct PPE and reporting any accidents, near misses or concerns
- Work towards site KPIs and targets while demonstrating flexibility, following company procedures and carrying out tasks safely, efficiently and in line with your training
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided
- Good numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
- A positive, reliable approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience operating MHE equipment, including LLOP, PPT, Reach Truck, Counterbalance or VNA, would be advantageous but is not essential
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety and delivering excellent service for our customer
