Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a practical and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role involving goods in and goods out, stock management, equipment preparation, and supporting the coordination of deliveries and collections. The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Process goods received and goods dispatched efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain stock control using an integrated stock management system.
- Liaise with transport companies and coordinate ad hoc deliveries.
- Arrange and monitor customer collections.
- Record and process customer returns accurately.
- Raise workshop calls as required.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of company vehicles.
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of equipment prior to dispatch.
- Build and prepare equipment ready for on-site installation when required.
- Ensure warehouse operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with procedures.
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience with a good understanding of goods in/goods out processes.
- Experience using a stock management or inventory control system.
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to assemble and prepare equipment following training.
- A strong eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet specific timescales.
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing a varied workload.
- A valid full driving licence.

Training and Development
Full in-house training will be provided where required. This is a varied position offering the opportunity to broaden your skills, take on additional responsibilities, and develop within a hands-on warehouse environment.
