About The Role…

We are excited to be recruiting for an ambitious Warehouse Operative to join our busy team within our 60,000sq ft Hub Warehouse, at our multi franchise distribution hub in Doncaster. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups.

This is not your ordinary Warehouse Operative role. This is your chance to shine as an individual and have the free reign to be yourself, demonstrate your accomplished organisational skills, and thrive in an environment that allows you to live each working day to the full.

You will be responsible for delivering the highest level of customer experience, guaranteeing accurate and effective efficiency and productivity of the warehouse, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Warehouse Operative…

  • Picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Quality inspection of parts, components and orders.
  • Palletising or decanting and loading of boxes and stillages.
  • Booking items on to computerised stock control systems.
  • Placing supplier delivered parts and components in the correct stock location, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
  • Overseeing the dispatch of orders in a timely manner, and coordinating van deliveries
  • Operating Forklift Trucks, (licence not required; full training will be provided).
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

About You…

  • You will demonstrate good time management and have the aptitude to prioritise your workload.
  • You will have the ability to work independently but also thrive as part of a team with a professional proactive can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills enabling you to work to strict deadlines.
  • You will be flexible when required.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the importance of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communications skills, across all levels for both internal and external contacts in written and verbal form.
  • Enthusiastic willingness to undertake relevant training.
  • We want you to love what you do – The rest will come naturally.
